    Stock again- rip slug

This is why i ask on here lols.

How would you work checking the 3rz valve lashes at 200k ish miles before buying? Could i just test drive, hit 4-5k a couple times and if it doesnt miss, just get them adjusted when i buy? Or is that oversimplifying like a hg leak and it's different

I'd ask for it to be cold when you arrive so you can check the radiator and coolant overflow for clean coolant (green or red) and if there isn't signs of brown nastiness you're probably okay as long as it runs well. Cold starts are where they will miss if there is a cracked head, another reason you want it to be cold when you get there. If it is okay on those two fronts and the heater works (good indicator there isn't stop leak in it) then it is most likely okay. Finding someone with records it has been done is good too.

Mine had a periodic miss at idle and you could see it in the manual transmission shifter. It would bounce just a little extra.

Bottom right reminds me of the house I grew up in, beautiful wood floor but that dark floor tone eats light in a room so have some offset. We had colorful rugs and furniture.

Yeah, it’s hard to tell with just a little patch. Bottom right is medium brown, which was the lightest and warmest of the 3. Going with that one.

The 22re won't break shit it the valves get too far out of adjustment, it's pretty rare that they burn valves or crack heads. The plastic timing chain guide is usually the biggest concern, if the chain guide wears through and breaks the chain could wear through the front cover. As to Zane's point, they are slow lol

@Wulf Would I be the most disliked person in history if I proposed adding a page load buffer to the HTML 5 standard so that when objects appear... they all appear. I hate thinking a page is loaded and clicking only to have something else appear and bump the thing I was clicking on to another area and misclicking on something else. I swear everything in the google management console does this with their countless update banner notifications that conveniently load 3-4 secs after every other element (and I know the internet is fast enough to load these fuckers at the same time)

nahhhh that's far more common than you'd think lol

Usability is probably far more important than load times for the kind of stuff you're working on, right?

I mean doing things in the management console is nice to be able to work at speed, just makes me slow down a lot to accommodate all the elements moving positions for up to 8 seconds.

    Huge pet peeve here too.

I also can’t stand it when I start typing a search, and then a few characters in the software finally loads a bunch of useless suggestions and overwrites my search.
