yah that makes sense. if tacoma is 65.6 then 68.5 makes sense. JD does 69 for the 2.25, Fusion does +3 over stock

I think they were formally know as “trailer products” fenders or they acquired them or something. Heard they work, just take more effort on fitment than the bigger names.

Yep, it’s what I’m running on my front. Figment isn’t great, but I’ve had mine on the front of the truck for like 9 years now. When I got them they were the smallest flare you could get which is why I went with them because at the time I was fake long travel and just running wheel spacers

Anybody else SUA having issues with wiping out the slip yoke in the rear portion of the driveshaft? I grenaded a carrier yesterday and while looking things over I have a shit load of play in my slip. Ideally I would like to get something better than an OEM shaft.

I go thru carrier bearings about every other year. Slip yoke on the driveline has been hanging in there for a while now but does have some play now that needs addressing.

What king of play do you have? I’ve got a substantial amount of both rotational and up/down in mine. It’s to the point where I don’t think it’s holding on by much. Trying to figure out if I have other issues going on or if this is just a “thing”.

I had so many problems with my oe DS and I noticed a massive difference in power transfer & how solid the driveline felt when i switched to a one piece DS however the downside is you are very limited with gearing with a one piece due to the length

I too ran a one piece up until this build. Debating if I shouldn’t just go with a massive diameter shaft once I drop the factory tank out of it.

Hopefully you don’t need a 4th. Because they won’t make them for tacomas anymore.

I just got one from them last month, my dline is only around 59" since i have dual cases so they will still make them for me.

Looking good dude! Also long story short, was changing a wheel bearing in the Grand Junction oreilly auto parking lot, and guy working there said he knew ya. Dont remember his name as it was back in April but figured I'd bring it up haha.

That’s super funny he told me about that but I couldn’t figure out who he was talking about.

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
Are the 2 driveshafts separating at the slip yoke or is there play within the splines of the DS?
Curious as I will be going with the same JD SUA but on a factory ‘2-piece’ non-slip yoked DS.

I have a 4” and I still can’t run more than 4:10 gears if i ever want to be able to drive over 80mph, the prob is how long it is. Maybe ask @81Trekker what parts spec he uses on his DS ?

I don’t believe it’s directly related to any particular SUA kit. Rather shock loading on the shaft it’s self. I’m not quite sure on the best way to handle the situation honestly.

The driveshaft is the first limitation for SUA. So basically everyone with it is just constantly running their driveshaft at it's limits anytime they're using all their suspension travel. Part of the game really
