87ish with 80% humidity yesterday. Now it’s smoky again. Pinch me, are we on the East Coast, or did we teleport to the West Coast in fire season?

 

@02hilux sent me a pic of his car and it was like 120! Its been fucked hot here too but mainly just humidity. I swear it feels like fucking florida. Like 86 with a feels like of 100 and 65% himidity

But skies are clear and I'm enjoying the shit out of my AC.

I stayed indoors, hell I didn't even go in the garage other than to grab beer.

 

Was talking to a buddy in the desert. He said it measured 127 at his place. Yes, I said 127. Fucking insane.

Fire in Riverside county I believe. Something is always on fire.

When I lived in vegas the car would get 125 kinda often in aug. Your ears feel like they are popping from heat. Still better than 90 with 70% humidity imo.

 

Yeah. I think I’ve finally accepted that the dry heat is more bearable.

Growing up in the Northeast, we never really had this insane humidity consistently. Nothing like you get in Florida, at least in the past. Seems to be changing.

 

where do you live? I live in New Florida, formally known as New jersey.

 

Currently in MD, but I’m in NJ enough.

And NJ has always been that way. Snowbirds have FL tags, spend the winter down there, head north for the milder summer.
