We have a Shit Creek. It's a backwater overflow at the confluence of the Gila and Colorado rivers. Not what I'd call pristine waters by any means yet It's still a popular party destination for the locals.

Friday’s treatment effect lasted through Saturday and yesterday’s is working today, too. That’s good news. I go tomorrow and Friday - 3X a week for the next few. Hopefully it’ll take hold and last. So far, the memory isn’t badly affected either. The Mrs is a saint for helping me deal with this. She has to take me to every appointment as they give me anesthesia before they start the procedure.

I’m doing okay - thanks for asking.

Just remembered a funny thing from last weekend… got distracted playing “where’s the river?”…
So I overheard my camp neighbors yelling “where are your pants?!?” And I almost had to check that MermAndy hadn’t wandered off again but then I realized it was just the mom next door yelling at her toddler son.

    the end.

Special blessings for your wife. Continued prayers for you. I don’t know what I would do without my wife with all that I’ve gone through.

    Advice needed.

My truck is a cream-puff, 2015, garage kept, only 60K miles. When I bought it in 2018 I put a set of brand new off road wheels on it.
Whenever I take it to Americas Tires I'll remove the center caps and I always give them a lecture about not scratching my rims, and they never have.
So I took my truck into the Toyota dealer for a separate service but I mentioned to the service manager that I'm checking off my maintenance list and I was going to get my tires balanced when they were done. So he offers to do the balancing for free and the last thing I said before handing over my keys was "don't scratch my rims and be careful removing the center caps".

Well, you can see what they did. So the service manager says they have a guy that can touch it up, and I laughed and said "These are powder coated rims you can't just touch them up with paint". So now the service manager is saying that he got the green light to buy a replacement rim, but my concern is that they'll just buy the cheapest aftermarket refurbished rim that they can find.

There's a few local places that specialize in refurbishing rims the right way.
Should I take the offer of the rim replacement rim, or would I be better off keeping my original rim and just having it fixed myself ?

I’d take the offer of the replacement rim and mount my spare on it. The move the spare into rotation. Then you can choose if and when to repair the rim. Just thoughts though…

New rim as spare, get existing fixed to your specs!

I was THIS old when I discovered the reason y'all call them Raptor lights, and why such the hatred, is FORD Raptor lights :anonymous:

Took the ATV tire/rim back to dealer today. When they mounted old tire on new rim last week, I just carried it out to truck and put in back. Had to take it out and rolled it onto the grass. There was something inside! Nobody at the shop got the joke "Are you missing a 10mm socket?" They found a rock inside the tire. . . :bikewhoops:
