This. It'll save you a lot of time and energy, plus it'll weed out all the people who are willing to ball out on links because they don't know the cost. Most people don't, your DM's will be clogged with people asking how much, only for them to ghost you after you tell them.

I grabbed some comp elites from Mike at @WarFab Armor this weekend. He got them for the Barbie Jeep to run koh this year and is going with some other ones now. So they’re lightly used and worth the drive to Colorado to get ‘em. Just need to find time to see if I’m gonna build something to mount off the cage or go with the kit that solo offers to adapt them to the factory slider. I just can’t have them raise up any higher than stock so I’ll probably end up doing something off the cage.

Would have preferred orange to match the truck but the price was very persuading to try out the red lol.

Yeah I will say the solo mounts don’t sit them very low.

Probably gonna be after the Labor Day trip before I try to get them mounted. Not too worried about it.

I’m still trying to find the motivation to make mounts for my PRPs. I want to retain the slider capability (not caged) and all off the shelf options I’m finding and solid mount.

Solo makes brackets that adapt to the factory slider. And 8runner sells some that come with their own slider and mount to factory holes. 8runner looks really tall and I confirmed with someone running them on their 4runner with prp’s that it did raise the seat up a bit. But he’s vertically challenged and that’s why he went with theirs. I’ve seen others similar to 8runner but can’t remember what company.

yeah i will say the solos aren't super low but it just depends how tall you are. i'm 6'1" and it wasn't a problem with my enduro elites until i caged the truck.

Yeah I’m 6’1” as well and my cage isn’t the tightest lol. I did what I could but these Tacoma cabs are rounded and funky everywhere lol. I already lowered the rear of the factory mounts and would like to get it an inch lower if I could. So I’ll probably build something that sits pretty low to the floor and just get a booster pad for my wife haha

I just put in a set of PRP Summit elites with the solo mounts and feel as if I’m sitting a bit lower. I’m also 5’8 and no cage but that is changing very soon.

Sick! Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey for what you get but you have to pay to play.
