Saw a red TRD OR access cab at a dealer near me…I want it…try and talk me out of it. My only passenger is my dog 99% of the time.

Your dog deserves more space. I got a 100lb german shep mix and a double cab is a good amount of space for him. wouldnt squeeze him in to less

Lots of folks build a platform in the back for their dog. The ones that are well done look nice and make the dog happy.

Since the 4th gen won't have an access cab (back to just an extended cab) if that's what meets your need, it could be time to move.

Normally just me in the front and my 80LB Golden Retriever on a dog platform. If you get the Access Cab, here are some ideas for a dog platform. Mine looks like the one in post #1 minus the Toyota logo.

Tucker - who you see to the left and in this photo - is 115lbs and absolutely loves it in his Red Access Cab. He can turn around, sleep, look out the back window...your dog will love it and, just my opinion here, but I think it's safer for him than being all over a DC especially in an accident. me and tucker.jpg AC.

If it fits your needs then I would go try to work a deal on the truck. Good luck!

All you have to do is walk into the dealer, talk to a salesperson, and ask what they want for it. That should be enough to send you running.

What sized bed? 6 ft and crew cab becomes a huge truck. Ask me how I know. AC with 6 ft bes = perfect. Take out what ever they call a seat and build a platform.

Clamshell doors on a truck, could be a collector’s item someday.

You cant fit very many of them in one tho. I mean i still get the same amount regardless of space but it helps to have the option :rain:

Pretty much for me also. Haven’t had my back seats installed in 6ish years

Tundra is my back seat riders ride. Have to plan trips accordingly. Usually works out since I have another 100ish mile range with it also with a 38 gal tank.
