Yup, missing that. Thought the harness that came in the box was the hyper flash but it wasn’t. Thanks for posting a pic, hadn’t seen one till now.

Interesting. Got it back today. Service manager said they reset the ECU, wiped the unit, reset it to factory, paired an employee phone, drove it and it was fine so we should have no problems. (This is on our 2023 Venza, not our Taco BTW. ) It didn't even make it off of the lot before it started having more problems. Some kind of distorted Toyota logo appeared in the middle of a map and everything started pixelating, then it shut down. Now they have to call Toyota to see if they'll replace it. Awesome little SUV, except for that. We'll see how it goes. :fingerscrossed:

    :threadjacked: :p

Dug through the Owner's Manual and didn't see any reference to it.

Yep, tried that too. Held it after the light show for a good 30 seconds, maybe more... right in the dealership's customer bay. Nada. :( They were all too busy running around like headless chickens so I went home.

So yours does the light show bit like mine?

Just tried that sequence while I stood beside it. Zip. Nada. Crickets. It's not that important at all since it's in the garage. Just thought it'd be cool if/when I ever needed it. Think I'll leave it at that now. My locks will either get worn out or my key fob will die. :D

Wow… didn’t realize my N2 install would cause this. All I know is my experience. Once my trail finished on the connected services, my remote start stopped working (with the FOB, I do know the difference). So far the remote start with the N2 module works every time. As long as you get 3 beeps within about 1 sec of each other it will start. That was not my experience with the built in from Toyota. But looks like everyone’s mileage varies. Got to love consistency. FWIW, my Taco was built in March of 22 and no I haven’t updated anything. Everything else works, so not going to F*ck with anything.
