Who says you can't polish a turd?

Spent ~6 hours doing probably the first compound and polish this thing has ever seen. Replaced the door weatherstrip with Fairchild from Rockauto (near perfect fit) and this weekend is new fuel injectors and LCE header.

Didn't you hit a deer with Igor, which is what led to the steel bumper in the first place?

Are you swapping on a new cab and bed? Or why the removal of the black cab?

[IMG] [IMG] Transmission is out, transfer case if outc, painted the spindles. I’ll toss the spindles together tomorrow at work and get them on the truck so I can spin the frame around and get the engine transferred over. Then t belt, drive belts, and valve cover gaskets are next

Went to the local TJ Maxx parking lot this weekend. These curbs are getting out of control.

231mm tundra brake upgrade complete. Wasn't planning on doing it today, but the parts showed up at the door this morning.

Going back and forth from driving this, and my 3rd gen 4runner that I did the mod on 10 years ago, the difference is pretty dramatic. Felt like I needed to stand on the brake pedal to get stopped going down steep roads

Rocknob shifter, wheelskins leather steering wheel wrap, husky floor mats. Amazing how a few simple things transform the feel of the cockpit.

Front diff is out, transmission in the bed of the white 02 to clean up at work, and spindles assembled. Tomorrow maybe we’ll get the engine moved over and on the new frame?
