    So when I retired from active duty I had two months terminal leave, still drawing full regular check. I started doing all those home improvement projects I never managed to get to my 8 yrs on active duty here. This is our first and only house, proud to say it's all ours as of two months ago. Any way, by week two the folks at our local Lowes were calling me by first name. 6 weeks in the Lowes bill shows up ... which led to my wife's epic line, "Old man, you need to go back to work." :oops:

    My time off after I retired was short lived as I was threatened with bodily harm if I didn't get a job :eek:. It all started with me waking her up at 5 AM so she could go to work by saying "Everydays a Saturday" After 5 days she told me "to get a job or she was going to kill me" :facepalm:. Got another job as it was in my best interest :D:thumbsup: True story. :rofl::rofl:
