but will tell you that i love it & dont know how ever made it all happen with working as much as did.

If you can afford it? stay retired & enjoy the years you have left. there's no guarantee of how many or long you will have.

if your like most the rest of us 50+ ? you have worked hard since you were a teenager & its all you know how to do. once you make the adjustment? you will be glad you did.

 

The financial adviser will be stopping by early next week to discuss my plan. I can use the rule of 55 for my 401K for the time being. Looks like I’ll have time on my hands to cut my own lawn… I’ll have to get the tractor back from the neighbor.

 

Yeah the wife and I weren’t ready for me to stop working, it has been a huge adjustment. But the way employers treat people at the end of their “life cycle “ is just sad. Don’t really like the idea of giving the last year’s of my life to an employer who treats people like equipment.
