Just dropped car off at Hoover Toyota for an Airbag recall.

Did they give an idea of how long it'll take them?

It will be done by end of day. Ive got the super white paint recall on my car too. Mines peeling pretty bad. some ppl looks like this.

Only place in our part of state that can do it anytime soonish is Bill penny in Huntsville. Said its a 4 months wait. If i needed a rental it would be 8 months. Also they will need car for 6 weeks lol. I need it done soon since its 10 years from build date and mines coming up next year. Its like a whole respray ​

 

You would think Toyota would have figured out the white paint issue Can you go ahead and set the schedule just in case something happens and Toyota can see you were in queue

So what happens if they can't get to you until after the recall? Will Toyota honor the fact you were in line before the cut off? That's what I was asking.

 

no from what i was told they don't. But Ive got plenty of time.

 

That's kind of shitty. What happens if we have another shutdown?

Sup peeps, took a day off to go to the dentist. Got done there and been busy with some home electrical projects I’ve been putting on hold. Got those done and started mowing the lawn. And finally got that under control , so I’m enjoying an adult beverage that’s called the silver bullet.
