Gonna be a hell of a fire season out west with all the rain this year and resulting green growth... when it all turns brown.

Traded out the aluminum contractor shell, tent, and cots for a FSR Aspen Lite on a Yakima Outpost HD rack, so of course I had to test it out over the weekend.

Great pics, most excellent spot, and... did you catch anything for breakfast?

Sadly, no. Would've been better off with flies than lures this time around, I think. That being said, I didn't walk down to the spot that I've caught most of my fish there at.

Where are you from? Where are you headed? Washington has so many great places to explore. How long did you stay here?

Went to Orcas and Olympic Peninsula and have been in the state for 9 days. Heading east to Pendleton and looking for camping 2-3 hours south of there tonight but I'm not e at sure where we will end up. Plan is to be back in Reno on Saturday. We've been traveling 3 weeks now.

Ah such a beautiful area of the state! Sorry the trip is winding down but it sounds like you’ve got enough time to enjoy the trip back.

Just finished a week of camping in the Collegiate Range of Colorado. Resupplying my grandson while he backpacked the CDT from Twin Lakes to Monarch Pass. 104 miles mostly above 11,000 feet. Great fun handing out mints and taking CDT hiker’s trash to dispose for them. Met hikers from as far away as Tasmania.

edit: Should probably note that if you look closely at the last picture, you can see four climbers on the mountain to the left.
