I'm shocked that URD does not offer a plug and play harness for this. It isn't 2002 anymore.

Keep checking all your wiring OP. You will be extremely relieved once you figure it out. no better way to learn than being under the gun....

May have put the voltmeter in @200v heard strange clicking the ended up with p0123. Dad thinks ecms fried. Pulled tps sensor on front. Pins had oil on them as well as connector.

Looks like cam shaft position sensor. It is normal to see oil on Sensor side. Not sure why the connector side is covered in oil.
Tps is the part of the throttle body.

ECU is a next step if you are 100% sure the wiring is repaired.
Do you have OBDII tool to erase codes?

I had that error once after running out of gas… it kind of goes off at random when the engine struggles

I’m hoping for him, these projects are doable, but can take many runs at em.
This why I want folks NOT outsource this work,,, or they’ll be at the mercy of the installer or have to go back and figure it out eventually.

Keep Me Out Of This! I tried and tried and tried to warn Tacoma World about this URD/Rotrex crap‼️
That’s the main reason why I volunteered to be the guinea pig for LC Engineering/Magnuson. My advice to the OP sell the system! Sorry someone else had to learn the hard way. Plus once you get it up and running and like others have said it will self destruct somewhere down the line. Not if, but when, Just look at its history!!

TW or Someone here needs to make a sticky about Rotrex issues‼️ Or G and URD are going to keep laughing all the way to the bank.

My advice is to contact LCE or Gabe @ https://snpspeed.com/

Gabe’s not cheap but as you learned you get what you pay for when it comes to buying HP!
    Gabe is down right good!

I think the OP joined after he bought and installed the system no sticky would have helped.

    ewwwfff, not confidence inspiring.
I just don't know if some of these companies have the resources to pull these kits off.

    Chew,
URD has known about this issue ever since they first started using the Rotrex! Believe it or not they started with Pro-charger. But I’m sure they got a much better deal on the POS Rotrex! There’s not ONE OE manufacture using the Rotrex‼️ There was one but they stopped shortly afterwards ( they must have found out the hard way too⁉️ )
URD says they went w/ the Rotrex because it was “quiet”.
When should have said “We got a smoking deal.”     :pout:
