I don't like to spend money twice, but I've just ordered the Cali Raised to replace the current Miller Cat. I've had no real issues with the Miller, but it covers up too much in my opinion, and to your point, I've managed to capture some corn fodder with it.... it tends to smoke and stink close to the hot cats.

I added the Miller Cat before the Cali Raised were announced after a couple of neighbors had their barns broken into and cats cut off their trucks. Mine stays locked, but a little extra deterrent can go a long way.

Tried every combination posted and then some (including yours) and no-go. Closest I got was a light show and then nothing. No biggie. ;)

Added Lamin-x film to our LED fog lights. Sometimes it's the little things. ;)

What vehicle is this? The cat plate doesn't look like mine. On mine the 'wings' don't have provisions for the frame drain plugs. Whole story about those!

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
N2Design remote start module works great and only takes 20 min. to install.

Do you find yellow fog lights work better than white to light up the road?

Supposedly yellow reflects less off fog making them better in those conditions. I went with white because I just leave my fogs on with the headlights.

That’s a Diamondback cover. I have an HD myself and I haven’t had any issues with leaking. I park outside and I’m in Oregon, so it sees a lot of rain.

I've no idea yet. We won't have fog and heavy rain for another month or two. ;)

There's a difference between clear "driving lights" and actual "fog lights" - amber/yellow. In my book they both do a pretty good job of lighting up the road in the areas our headlights miss, particularly along the sides of the road. If you're just looking to see more in the dark, clear driving lights are the way to go. Good article here:

    https://nomadist.com/gear/driving-lights-vs-fog-lights/

Bottom line, for me, is they'll hopefully work better in the rainy and foggy conditions we get a lot of here. Like @Phenom3030 mentioned, clear/white light is reflected by fog, mist and such more than amber/yellow. Time will tell if just changing the lens color will make a difference. Of course, and most importantly, there's the cool factor. :D The lighting experts will chime in. :crapstorm:

Correct. I have the HD also and it doesn’t leak either up here in WA.

Same reasons I put the laminex on my lights also. I feel in clear conditions you don’t see the light as well on the road but helps in the heavy mist/fog. I don’t normally run my fog lights in clear conditions but now when they’re left on…it looks way cooler!

The Lamin-x film is pretty thick so it should help to avoid rock chips and such too.

I agree, I was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I considered trying to find a clear product for the headlights just to add protection there.
