What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I think of that episode every time my light comes on. Lol.

 

Installed this last night, Amazon prime special! Came with lights as well so I might put them on later.

 

Whoops ! I accidentally just ordered these, SHH don't tell my wife !

 

Someone could drive 15 miles from Boulder to N. Denver and knock of 10k buying it from Mountain States Toyota. Unless those dealer accessories are just what they wanted.
My guess is the dealer got the special color, loaded, and loaded it up even more to cash in.

 

My Distance to Empty fluctuates based on my recent driving. After a long highway drive it is higher. Short trips up and down the hill and it's lower. I keep it guessing
Sometimes I even resort to looking at that little arrow pointy-thing with an E and F, whatever that is.

Did you get this sorted out?
Press the fob 3 times and hold until the lights flash, then let the button go. The truck should start. I rarely use that feature because it shuts off as soon as you grab the door handle

 

I did this the other day too. When the lights first came on at night, it was almost blinding. Amazing difference from stock.

 

Just installed some domed center caps on my Method MR312s...........
They are aluminum, domed and highly clear coated, with a custom design I sent the Etsy seller.
He has a lot of different sizes of the aluminum disks (about 1/16" thick or less) so I ordered one close the the size I thought would just barely fit in the pop off center caps of the rims.
Had to sand flat the OEM Method caps, but hopefully will be worth it once I put them on.

Not sure how accurate the 4V6 is on the caps, but overall the quality and workmanship is outstanding, and from the other customers pics, he seems to be able to come up with just about anything you can think of to put on them. He is in Portugal of all places, but shipping was under a business week and his prices were very reasonable.

NP, to one of the previous poster's points, the one annoying bit is the front of the plate attaches with three long screws through the trans cross member IIRC. It's a hell of a lot easier to place the end plate in position if you remove the skid for install - still easy, just mildly annoying.

 

You had a bad experience at Fred Anderson, others had bad experiences at Mark Jacobson. Pick one, they all suck.

 

I don't like to spend money twice, but I've just ordered the Cali Raised to replace the current Miller Cat. I've had no real issues with the Miller, but it covers up too much in my opinion, and to your point, I've managed to capture some corn fodder with it.... it tends to smoke and stink close to the hot cats.

I added the Miller Cat before the Cali Raised were announced after a couple of neighbors had their barns broken into and cats cut off their trucks. Mine stays locked, but a little extra deterrent can go a long way.

 

Tried every combination posted and then some (including yours) and no-go. Closest I got was a light show and then nothing. No biggie.

 

Added Lamin-x film to our LED fog lights. Sometimes it's the little things.

 

What vehicle is this? The cat plate doesn't look like mine. On mine the 'wings' don't have provisions for the frame drain plugs. Whole story about those!

 

N2Design remote start module works great and only takes 20 min. to install.

 

What Tonneau cover is that and does it leak,
I have the RollX4s and mine leaks by the tailgate, i learned the hard way as my tool bag filled up one night in the rain,.

 

Do you find yellow fog lights work better than white to light up the road?

 

Supposedly yellow reflects less off fog making them better in those conditions. I went with white because I just leave my fogs on with the headlights.
