All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
There is a SAS’d Subaru Brat stuck in a crack/slab where it rolled at the top of the mtn I live on.

just a couple of things tbh
so thats impossible since its a unibody construction and the fact those things are made out of sheet metal and would bend in half if you flexed them to far lmao. but someone does have a first gen 4runner frame with a tercel body on it with a v8 from a 4th gen in it lol. if you look on my ranger build thread its in one of the pics i think?

I'm probably overdue. Thanks for the reminder, definitely riding in this heat lately isn't helping it smell any better.

I was way overdue. It was gross. Mix of a little bit of laundry detergent and a bunch of oxy booster stuff worked great and rinsed easily

I'm lucky where my main helmet's liner comes completely out and I can just wash it in the bathroom sink with normal laundry stuff. For the ones where it doesn't I know a few companies out there make aerosol sprays where you spray it in, let it sit for a few minutes, and then blot it out. I dont know how clean it actually gets but anything is better than nothing haha

    Something like this:

Anyone have any tips for breaking in a MX boot? I just tried to ride in my new A* boots and couldn't even shift!

switched back to the Forma's and they're like a well oiled leather glove.

    Pic for attention

My helmets the liners just snap in and out. I hand wash them with a small amount of shampoo the rinse very thoroughly. I let them air dry outside but not in direct sunlight.

    but why tho likes this.

I just throw mine in the wash with my clothes...dry on low heat. Haven't had an issue personally. I usually wash my liner once at the beginning of summer and once at the end. Maybe once midway if it's an exceptionally sweaty season.

Here for this answer, and also a question for you or anyone else familiar with dirt boots...

I bought some Sidi Crossfire 3's, size 43 (9.5-10 US, I'm normally a 9), sized up based off a friends recommendation, and it still feels very tight. Not so much that it's causing pain, but there is a good amount of pressure underneath the protruding ankle bones on each side of my feet (malleolus?) when standing. less when i squat. Is that normal for dirt boots? I kept em on for about 30 minutes, and it never caused pain so I'm thinking maybe it's just constructed like that to help lock the boot onto your leg.

I don't have an answer for you.

My Alpinestars feel great size-wise (im a 13us), but when i was going out of my neighborhood, my feet were pretty loose. I stopped to tighten things up more. I know I will need to tighten even more when im not tucking my jeans into them.

The Forma's fit really well. My feet can move a little bit, but not as much as the A*. I will correct that. But have less ankle protection. They also have 7700 miles on them, and have been wet and dry. They are waterproof so nothing inside got wet besides sweat. If I keep them, ill just use to go around town and not offroad
