I hate water snakes
You can be relaxing, feesching from the bank for catfeesch and they'll bust your party.
When you become aware of each others' presence (when you jump, that is)...

Good friend of mine has hunted rattlesnakes for many years. He’s 79 and still nuts them. He will even get in the crawl space of pier and beam houses to get them. No thanks!!

 

Thanks, calm enough there to fly the drone. Most days here are too windy

 

I got to see a black snake hatch from an egg once. Dad brought it back from the greenhouse. It was awesome! Mom didn't think so though.
