Cincinnati Area Thread (Tri-State, Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana)

I have 6 or so cans of fluid film I’m not going to use if you want. My truck is 10 years old and I don’t care anymore. Tired of crawling under it to spray it.

 

I thought it didn't drip...that would be a dealbreaker if I am constantly having to clean it up.

How is the frame after 10 years of using it? How much you want for the cans? I know I at least want to put some on where I am going to bolt up the sliders.

I didn't see many good deals, but I also wasn't really looking.

Nice! I don't think there really are that good of deals. Most are pretty small discounts. Seems to be a lot of peripherals that get marked down. I did pick up a Nintendo switch for my kids for $72 off. Thought that was pretty good.

Dang I didn't have that on my list but I want to put a little around the tailgate lock to try and make that a little quieter.

 

Slider install tomorrow any tips or anything else I should know? I plan on spraying fluid film between the bracket and frame for rust protection.

Got sliders installed. That was a PITA but I love them. Kids are happy they have a step too. The kick out works great for the back seat. Still lots of work to do but coming along.

 

You can have all 4 for $75, sell the other 3 individually and get yours for free!

Going camping tonight at a Hipcamp. If you haven't heard of Hipcamp it's like an AirBnB for camping. Prices can vary, but I found a place near me that is WAY less than a state park. Not much public land out here to boondocks on in Indiana!

 

How did I not know about this site! It's awesome! I may try and use it when I go to Asheville this fall. I was pretty bummed to see they got rid of camping at Max Patch. Finally have a vehicle to get up there and now I can't camp.
