Not yet... unless you're referring to the millionaire guy that passed from hitting the wall?

edit: just searched it and saw. Sad to hear, we've had close calls with brake failures at our events, but none resulting in vehicle/persons damaged. I live in Maine and didn't even hear about the accident at the New England Forest rally earlier this week. Sad to hear.

    No, not that.

ProSolo event. Driver nearly completed his run and was headed for finish line. He suffered a heart attack and never slowed. He died along with a fellow (woman) competitor who was in a port-o- potty he struck before coming to a stop. Most of the stories didn’t have full details but the discussion on Grassroots Motorsports forum included driver's brother.

Edit: early reports of brake failure were inaccurate

Wow... didn't see those details either, really unfortunate. Kinda wondering how far that vehicle had to travel to hit the port a john, the ones at our events are nowhere close to the racing.

Had a 1/2 size white face nest in one of my bushes last week. Did the same thing with a one piece jumpsuit, wool hat and lineman gloves. Gave it half a can right in the opening and busted the nest up with 2 sections of tree sticks and juiced the rest of the nest with the other half of the can. Problem solved.o_O

My friends wife use to navigate. 95% of rally accidents IMHO ARE BARREL ROLLS into trees. Fuck that shit.

You're not wrong at all. Either that or sideways at 80mph into the door with a tree.

What did you install for suspension? I'm on the lookout for some clean 3rd Gen TRD OR takeoffs.

Working too hard and too much to catch up from the rain all summer. Ugh!

Yea. I can’t even paint my front door. Been prepped for about 2 months.
Rain, humidity, chance of rain, bullshit. I’ve been out on the boat only 4 times.
I can’t even get out myself, let alone get you on it..

I hear ya. My neighbor is a painter. We were chatting the other day and he said he won't even consider painting anything exterior until there's a 2 week break in this crap for things to dry out. Everything has been absorbing moisture since June. I've been getting calls for stuck doors and floors buckling. I'm simply telling them it's the humidity. So gross.

Quote of the day from one of my coworkers: "It's been so hot and humid this week, If I got crabs, they'd leave a note saying they'd come back when it was less moist"
