Video is bouncing, it doesn't flip closed on it's own, sadly. That'd be too cool though

I keep considering adding a Super Tenere to my stable but lack of space and more importantly funding prevent that from happening. My Buell and Honda CB400F sit far more than they should but the FJR is so damned easy to just hop on and go. Saddlebags always have rain gear and extra gloves in them. Makes commuting to work simple, just toss my lunch in one bag and ride.

TBH the FJR and the Super Tenere are close in feel that it wouldnt make sense to have both unless you wanted to do more fire road off roading stuff. The FJR def superior on the street and that beautiful SMOOTH i4 it has is outta this world for useable power. (The tenere has gobs of torque and is mostly smooth but FJR has another 30hp and 15ftlbs probably over a wider rpm range). I heavily considered an FJR but ultimately wanted to live the ADV bro lifestyle for a bit.

I love the FJR for travel especially 2-up and it's a definite mile eater. Tenere would be more used for 2-up moto camping and fire road exploration. Lifelong PA resident and we have a lot of unpaved roads in our northern area that could be a lot of fun. I once had a bonus location during a long distance rally that required a 6 mile stretch of unpaved road to get to and while I did it on the FJR it was not all that fun. I Spoke with an IBR competitor I know who used to use the FJR but had switched recently to the Tenere and he told me he loved both bikes and while many tasks could overlap they each filled a certain niche and owning both isn't all that bad of an idea.

(idk the gauge doesnt read properly at alll) when out of nowhere something came from the left side of my bike but hit nothing on the bike but slammed right into my foot.... hit hard enough to knock my foot off the peg.. my foot seems fine but it does hurt...

Great video. I've tried explaining this to people before, but far less eloquently.

I should hit 3000 miles tomorrow, bought the bike in January. Not great but not too bad for just weekend riding

Lol I do have a few modern amenities…ABS, traction control, two ride maps, and quick shifter
