had no clue it was friday. huh how about that?

 

Lo and behold it’s Friday, Good Morning everyone.

 

Retired like me? I only keep track because my wife still works and I have a grandson in school. Oh, and I go to church almost every Sunday, so that starts me off right.

Yes sir. retired Jan3rd. lose track of the days all the time until someone here reminds me which one it is. love it. my dogs love it. my wife.... eh like yours shes still working so shes happy for me getting out, but not happy that shes still working. (TBH= shes only 46 & loves to spend money, so she has to keep working until she gets better with her money or i die & she gets all that life insurance. :-0 )

 

Im not the best tree cutter. im scared of ones that hang in another tree. we always called them widow makers. last one i had a bud came with a bobcat with gripping jaws attachment and pulled it down for me. good luck ,be safe. Got to agree with Miss Sue. may be able to use the truck to pull that one out

 

I can't get my wife to stop working. I guess she figures, if I won't get out of the house, she will.

Have fun camping. That double peak in the back ground looks so familiar but juuuust... can't place it! Hoping to get out myself in a few days up in the NW corner.

 

So stopped by Pecks when doing appts.in town today,got 2 chopped bbq platters for supper. getting ready to heat it up. chopped pork bbq,hand cut twice cooked frys. homemade coleslaw,brown beans with raw onion and butter and buns. wont get much work done this evening. plus the gal told me she would give me the western carolina table sauce recipe one day since they are gonna close sometime this year

 

not much of a painter. bunch of spots the paint had chipped off at the shower,wife wanted it touched up. . the only bit of paint i had was way too light. soo,google colors to make brown. mixed some food coloring and added to the light paint till it matched. was pretty pleased. painted the lower 4”’s. not perfect but it worked.

 

Looks great to me.
