As it turned out my Tacoma got totaled while being transported to the dealership from the factory. I bought a 2021 Tundra with 10k miles. Love it.

I didn't read any of the other comments. Remember I was responding to someone who called me a clown, and I supported my statements with facts.

I'm glad my Toco got totaled and I got a Tundra. The Tundra owners have some class as well and Tundra has way more room. I could tell I wasn't in the right place too.

I don’t think so. I don’t think they got any alone time with it like the TFL crew did.

SG is definitely more performance car geared (they do some deep dives on cars such as the Lexus LFA) but they get into a lot more technical stuff instead of every other channel that says look at truck go down dirt hill

Guy is right about a lot of things. I feel bad for those who have to have to replace a vehicle now and just can not wait. I am in the fortunate situation that I am paying cash for my next ride so all that money has been sitting in CDs that mature in February. Hopefully by then I can pick up a 4th gen.

was in two Accura dealers and 1 used car dealer affiliated with an accura dealer over the weekend. Has car buying changed that much or is the market that slow now? i was the only customer in either store. it was so weird. sat used to be hopping at dealers.

either way, lots are filling up. prices are about to pop like a pimple on a teenager

I honestly think it depends on the area and the brand. I am in Nashville area and all the GM, RAM, and Ford dealers are full up with full size trucks. I went to look at a Canyon and dealership was dead. Only 1 other person there shopping. If I wanted a Limited or Platinum I could get about 5K off sticker. Same goes for GM trucks and Rams. They are flush with high end trucks that no one can afford the payments on right now. Lots of Tundras around too. However I have seen other people say the lots near them are still empty. Between high loan rates, manufactures who are building mostly high end trim levels, and lack of available cash for spending due to inflation over the last few years....I would bet we are going to see a metric shit ton of left over 2023 models at the end of the year unless we start getting some nice incentives from the manufactures and the dealers remove the heads from their asses.

Appears that he does not consider inflation at all! Also the interest rates can make a big difference. But who knows what is going to happen with them. Other than that, yeah, sounds reasonable.

I would not buy any of the Big 3 on principle alone. They want to screw over their customers as much as possible. GMC CEO even stated that they want to reduce trucks at dealership so they can increase the cost of each vehicle. Remember, instead of giving us better quality, they use that money for lobbyist instead. Think of how many mid-size trucks (UTES) around the world that would be in the U.S today if it wasn't for the Big 3 monopolies. Not to mention they will rush our unfinished or problematic vehicle, instead of fixing it. Complete opposite of Toyota and Honda.

I hope for 0% APR Toyotalon financing again! Though since I will be buying my truck next year or maybe the year after that, I'll just straight up pay in cash instead.

I drive all the major brands regularly. Hang out in service department and talk to mechanics there. I feel like I get to see a lot. I can only see myself spending money on Toyota and Honda. Nobody’s perfect but I think they offer the best value. Seems like even when they have great financing offers you can still only get like $1,000 off so I don’t think prices will tank for Tacoma
