A year ago I was in Upper Muley Twist Canyon and backed into a tree branch which center-punched the tailgate. I did the homework for replacement, and an OEM was going to cost thousands. I bought an new, painted after-market tailgate from eBay but it didn't come with the Tacoma embossing. I've owned Toyota trucks since the 80s, so figured that would be a nice salute to the old trucks.

Took my Tacoma to Kremmling, Co in June for the first time and loved it.

Sunday the daughter and I took a trip up North West of Phoenix.
    I-17 to Bumble bee Exit.
Dirt track to Bubble bee AZ.
On past that to Cleator AZ. Stopped for a beer.
    On to Crown King AZ.

On the way back we diverted through Cordes, AZ on Bloody Basin Road.

I love that drive. Didn't stop and take a lot of pics.
Just the stamp mill in Crown King.

I thought I saved a Gia-GPS route but apparently it didn't save. Guess I'll have to go back and drive it again! Oh Darn the luck!

Always sucks when you’re out having a good time and you come home with a bang on your rig. Fun though.

Western Wa. is nice as well. It would be perfect, if we had your Rockies.

Nice! Is this the road that goes up to the Reavis Ranch and the Rogers Canyon trailheads?
