I'll have 'installed pics' later tonight as it's currently at the shop.

here are the wheels/tires I am putting on:

    update 3/19/2011:
here comes an update: [still at the shop for at least till monday...]

    Major problem:

So the guy in charge of QC at the shop basically doesn't want me to leave the shop with it just yet. They test drove it on the freeway and he said he would be unsafe to drive it in these conditions. he is saying that at 60+mph he feels some loss of control when hitting small bumps/freeway cracks.

I have not personally tested it so I can't tell you much more than that... They're familiar with the stage2 kit on tacoma and coilover fabtech kits but they said they've never installed a procomp stage 1 yet. but I am assuming for a standard kit like that using only recommended wheel/tires I shouldn't be anywhere near close of being unsafe at highway speeds. Am I right?

The manager/QC guy said they think there might have been some mixing with the kit packaging. I did provide the kit which I picked up from 4wheelparts (5 boxes total), so I guess it's a possibility? So they will call procomp on monday and explain the issue. Hopefully they'll get this figured out asap...

    Minor Problems:

    - There is some rubbing with the front fenders/plastic, which will be taken care of with some trimming. I plan on getting a relentless fab bumper at some point with which I'll have no rubbing. So I am not too concerned about this one.
    - There is also some rubbing (about 3/8") with the sway bar. I know it can be removed but I have no clue what the driving consequences are, definitely don't want it to be unsafe. This one is probably due to the 5" backspacing on the wheels but I may be wrong. I had called procomp about that and they said 5" should be clearing fine with 12.5" wide tires. Guess not. I could fix this with some wheel spacers but again I don't want this to have a negative impact on the driving/safety.

    The good:

the good is that it looks fine, I took time to take a few pictures.

If any of you sees anything wrong with the install, I guess it's possible they've made a mistake, we're only humans right :D ? but that would be valuable input as to getting this done and wrapped up so I can drop this awful rental car (the smell is just horrible in this kia rio, had to drive with both windows open: gas smell on the freeway was just a blessing compared to this pee/dirt/?? smell coming out of the cab)

Again if you notice anything on the install, don't hesitate!

edit: excessive Tire pressure was causing the handling issues. Dropped from 55psi to 36psi and it's now driving great! noise front right area was coming from excessive fender trimming, zip tie fixed the problem!

rubbing is expected, I plan on changing the bumper for a relentless fab but this might take me a couple months.

edit: wheels are XD-801 (I know 5" back space but according to procomp it should be fine, I guess I'll find out soon enough :p ). tires are nitto trail grapplers in 35/12.5xR18
