Mine is a lot like this one in design. Secures around all 4 headrests with straps and quick release buckles. Between the two front seats mine has a zipper about 18" long. It allows the one side to stay up and then the other side can drop to the floor so a person can sit there.

I like it because I can stow my snowbrush and jug of washer fluid on the floor and it's kept separate from the dog space. Also gives some division between the front and back seats so she can't jump up into the front seats when she's not harnessed and buckled in.

I did a little more searching, it's just like this one:

    Her harness looks like this:

Only other thing I want is one of these:

I'd connect one end to the child seat anchor or something then I could just clip onto the dog harness on without trying to fumble with the seatbelt and the buckle. I think she'd get tangled up less too but still have some freedom of movement.

So how thick are these hammocks? I am looking at buying one and dont want the dogs claws to be able to puncture the hammock and get to the seat. Found one on Petsmart that with signing up for email gave me a $5 off coupon and can get it with delivery for $40. I do like the idea of yours zipping down the middle, maybe I need to look around some more.

Just looked back at it and it does have the zipper. I love this club.
