Man, bummed out about my damn pie crust. Made the decision to make it today without really thinking ahead in pre-baking it so again it came out ugly AF.

Anyway -



@amyracecar think I've mentioned folding this stuff before, this is how I do it just after combined.





And pre-shape for when you roll it out later.



Off to the freezer it goes.

Vanilla cream being next -



Beat some ingredients.



Mix in the hot ingredients from the stovetop.



Put ingredients back on stovetop.



Done cooking.



Mix remaining ingredients.



Cover, with plastic touching cause no one likes a hard skin on their custard.



Ice bath that bitch cause it'd take way too long in the fridge.



Enjoy a snack.



Pie dough should be firm, so time to roll it out.



Lay that shit in a pan, decorate it. Then bake it.



After baking, keep the oven warm and throw in those teriyaki chicken kabobs that you made in the background.



Like I said, by far my ugliest pie yet but the vanilla cream is sooooo fucking good
