First, I see chocolate ganache with NO CARAMEL, WTF??

I see how you dumped the crust crumble on the plastic wrap. I think you showed me something similar for biscuits and I do use that technique I when I make biscuits - so thx -

I still haven't ponied up and made a pie crust.. I tried and failed miserably along time ago and kinda gave up. Im not the biggest pie fan anyways - unless it is grasshopper pie (Oreo crust, mint marshmallow cream filling).

Why you cooking kebabs in the oven??
    Kebabs = grill.

This is what I "made" today:
    IMG_20230722_133651.jpg

    Cuban sandwiches!!
    Came out great

Good, Monica went back to work last week so Monday through Friday I am primary care for Olive. We have been pretty much staying home do to the crowds up here, but I am good with that I need to finish up a lot of projects. I still need to pull your motor.

Oh fuck those look so good :drool::drool:

And no caramel cause it's the same ganache from last week :luvya:

Wife doesn't do sugars (only on a very rare occasion) and I do but with my 1 Red Bull a day, I stay off the other sweets

Kebabs went in the oven cause I don't own a grill anymore; gave it away before moving here and haven't bought a new one yet.

Did I say how good that sandwich looks? Damn.

Dang, yeah Stephanie is due to go back to work what...2-3 weeks?

We'll have to figure what day you guys make it out so I can buy a motor stand from Harbor Freight. That and I'll wash the blankets/sheets again too for you guys.

    The sandwiches were super tasty!!
[I brought 1/2 of the one we didn't toast home for lunch tomorrow]

I try in avoid sugar in general but I do that so I can make exceptions when I want to and not feel bad about it.

Not having a grill is a problem that you need to fix - I use mine multiple times a week; have it plumbed into the propane line to the house so I don't gotta fiddle with those bottles anymore. It also has a burner on the side - so if I am gonna make something messy [like pan frying potatoes in tallow], I do that on the deck, on the grill so that whatever splatter does not go all over my kitchen. Cleaning grease splatter off my counters is just not fun..

It's crazy how fast summer is flying by. I have just over a month and a half before I go back to work.
I will start working on pulling the motor this week.

    Or Something!

I got sent away when I put on new Falken's on the Tacoma "can't align it, bad bushings"

Replaced them days later with Whitelines as well and she tracked perfectly, and got an alignment.

Stephanie just took over, I'm gonna play some video games and chill for the rest of the night.

I'm still pissed I can't find my small combination square; needed it yesterday and no dice but I continued getting stuff done.

Today I looked again and nothing :pout:

Oh and the collection of photos has grown

    20230721_092315.jpg

I'm gonna make a little book with these and give it to him when he's older

Of course I'll be able to add another 100 or so before that happens.

I've never had it professionally aligned since I've owned it. I did a tape measure and eyeball alignment on it when I did LBJs, but that's it.

I'm still probably gonna have to do the LF wheel bearing too before I can get a real one done. But I'm hoping not, really don't wanna deal with that either lol

I've been spoiled by my outback that comes apart in 10 seconds and everything is bolt on. This press in bearing stuff blows
