I like it except for the digital camo fender flares. Who the hell thought that was a good idea on a luxury priced vehicle driven by adults not teens.

 

the pro colors are always cool, but just never worked out on Sequoia....

 

Hello again everyone, I hope y'all are doing well. The ones out west I hope you're staying as cool as possible. I can't begin to fathom that kind of heat.

I must be in the minority, but I like the SR5 (and SR) plain jane looks. While I do kinda like TRD Pro & Trailhunter, those are a bit much, but many folks will shell pretty coin for them. Good for them.
Terra will probably be gorgeous color in person and that I am tickled to see it. Ditto for Trailhunter's Mineral interior---me likey very much.

Personally, an SR XtraCab 4WD will look awesome with a mild lift, bigger tires, and old school Toyota Pickup sport/side stripes. I'd also paint/pastidip the steelies center caps black and color the Toyota emblem red like some of the Land Cruisers/4Runners/Pickups had in the 80s/90s.

Concerning the GX 550, I know a lot of my fellow yoter-ites like the GX 550 design, I personally was very disappointed. It does not work for me. Waaaay too aggressive. The Current gen GX 460 ain't all that and a bag of chips in the looks department, but, it had a some-what humble look. Quite yet capable. I do like that Sand color of the Overtrail trim though. Hopefully it can be had on the Tacoma or Land Cruiser Prado.
Also, there if we get a hybrid version, I'm fearful for a Sequoia like cargo area (yikes).

The 4Runner is more related to the GX/Prado (historically), so I wonder what direction Toyota will take it. Personally, I cannot imagine why Toyota would bring 2 similar sized & capable SUVs to the same market.
i.e. 2 4-door 4X4 wagons.

Combine that with basically radio silence about the 4Runner, I my opinion, there's 2 fates:

----The 4Runner is gone; or
----It will be a Bronco & Wrangler fighter.

I can see Toyota making the 6th-gen 4Runner like its original; a 2-door convertible and maybe a 4-door convertible. I think this would make more since considering the arrival of the the Smaller Cruiser state side.
Of course, I could be very, very wrong. I'm not a bean counter. Just thinkin'.

Has anyone notice how the TRD Sport wheels are the EV Pickup Concept wheels? I haven't heard anyone say it. I notice it right off the bat.

Same wheels because the EV is basically the 4th gen in plain view .

 

@It's a TRD Thang --- True, I wasn't expecting the exact carry-over. Even the Supra has some differences from the FT-1 concepts. I wonder if the TRD Off-Road will get these as a opinion, or if it's another design. I know 18" are an opinion. After the Steelies, they're my favorite.

 

They should have made Terra for Tacoma’s only. I guess all the 2024 Pro’s get Terra. Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner, etc.

The Sequoia fender flares look like crap.

I would imagine 17” wheels with 32” tires are the standard (like the pics we’ve seen of the OR so far) and the 18” option gets you the same wheels and 33” tires from the Pro. Likely priced unreasonably, of course.

TRD Jon mentioned the production version won't option a sunroof, personally prefer that it doesn't.
No non functioning hood scoop
No glossy black trim
Amber and white fogs
No suspension tech on seats.
A plus with the upgraded front valance for clearance.
No snorkel or roof rack etc.... I imagine you can get without

Maybe hard to source optioned like this but, I'll certainly try.

 

What are you prepared to pay?

 

Wether I trade my 2020 off-road or not. I imagine in the 55 ballpark give or take.

 

The bronze oxide on the regular offroad looks good as well

Old news lol, but good gravy that chin spoiler gets more ridiculous every time it's posted lol. Straight to the landfill it goes.
