DCSB or DCLB?

Do you prefer the double cab short bed, or double cab long bed?

 

i wasn't sure if i would like the short bed. after 8 months, i am glad i got a short bed. it must be a beast to park the dclb.

 

I wanna put a toolbox in mine, but im afraid I wont have alot of space or if it'll look werid

This is too easy... The OFF ROAD TRD is not available with the long bed... and the only Tacoma I want has 4WD, a locker, and A-TRAC!

 

I got SB but sometimes it's an pain not having the LB

 

I use my truck as a truck. Long bed or nothing.besides I think the short bed is fugly

Second comment trumps it for me. I'd like the TRD OR, but I use the long bed way too much. I can't imagine making more trips for firewood in the summer because the bed was smaller (LB holds 1/4 cord of wood). At the same time, it would be nice to have the skids and locker. I worry about branches in the woods coming up and puncturing the gas tank or causing other problems (not to mention the big rocks we sometimes pass over. I guess Toyota didn't realize some of us have families and still need to use it like a truck.

 

LOOONG beds are for men... Thats why i have a long bed

 

This has been debated may times and most agree DCLB FTMFW .

 

Long bed because if you're under 6 feet, you can stretch all the way out and sleep in it. But I did want the TRD OR so I went with an access cab.

 

Short bed..I wanted a car that sat high with a huge trunk........ DCSB fit the bill

DCLB are pretty badass in my opinion. Maybe cause there really similar to my DC Tundra. Bias ftmfw!

 

Off topic , what is a good Tundra forum ?

 

Ehhhhh, Im a member of Tundrasolutions.com but IMO Tacomaworld is a lot better as far as a Toyota truck forum, TS doesn't seem as personal I guess. TS has a lot of good info about either generation of Tundra however.

Uh oh, issues are never good. Yeah definitely tell him to check out TS first, then Toyotanation, I think Toyotanation is a really good technical site.
