Those Oem roof racks look good. Problem for me is I can't make up a reason why I need one!

I needed one because I just purchased a Kayak and needed a place to carry it while towing a trailer. I love the looks also.

Got my Thinskinz back door covers today. Now my German Shorthaired Pointer and corgi can’t roll down the windows all Willy nilly.
    IMG_0378.jpg

And decided to try and wrap my fender flares with multicam style black wrap. Rear fender turned out better than the front fender. Only had enough wrap for two maybe three. Just did one side to see how it looks. Did it in the 12 o clock sun of Colorado so I’m beat. Probably will redo the front fender as there’s some notable creases where the flare meets the body. Good enough for government work for now.

Cool. If it uses the OEM bed light/squid launcher switch to the left of the steering wheel then I'm GTG, as I already have the switch on the left of the dash, just need the lights in the bed.

I finally had a chance to install OEM led headlights that I purchased in November after getting the harness through Offer Up the other day, which a couple of forum members @Puppypunter @daveeasa put together so SR5 can run them.

Looks good! I hate to admit it, but I just got around to installing mine (or watching my friend install them to be more accurate) Friday. I bought them from a Presidents day sale... in 2022 :anonymous:
    IMG_6413.jpg
Now, I just need to wait until I can drive again to aim them (after I finish putting everything back together still)

Every automotive forum (and others) I'm on and have been on for years are a lot like this one (only the members here are the best of course ;) ). There are usually a core bunch that post regularly about important and not so important topics, some passing along their expert and valuable knowledge, a few trolls and others that only drop by now-and-then. Newbies participate a lot initially and then a squirrel or something shiny grabs their attention. Some show up, ask a question and then when they get an answer ghost those that made the effort to help. That's life. A majority are great folks from all walks of life and backgrounds.

Totally agree that social media of almost any sort is a time-waster and really a dumpster fire these days... filled with misinformation and nonsense. To be avoided at all costs in my book. Good info and good camaraderie can more often be found on these kinds of forums.

Hang in there, keep positing and good things will come.

Thank you for your service BTW! :oldglory:

    Enough for now
dude that’s a tough spot, couldn’t even winch out if you wanted too unless there is a tree I don’t see. Glad your truck didn’t roll, how much to recover and were you driving alone? Another truck would have been super helpful in this situation I think.

That 3rd pic appears to be a precarious position. It looks like there's a jack handle near the gas cap on the uphill side of the truck.
