I had no doubt whatsoever that they were valid thoughts as were mine :D
For sure that’s almost setting you up to fail but I have a hunch you’d conquer that learning curve on the fly

Yea I’m not good with long movies either but if they’re a fun movie with some action that does help and keeps me interested. But my attention span needs a little help sometimes lol.

I absolutely feel like he is setting me up to fail and I feel it’s intentional. Long story with that…. He also told me he has more confidence in me than I have in myself. Gave me 8 hours of training last week and I will train this week. Next week I go at it solo

When I feel like that I’ve been told I’m over thinking things but there might be a little weight to that but I highly doubt it lol .I know exactly how you feel as sometimes I feel like I’m delt a hand that has no chance of winning. Surprisingly, though Sometimes it does work. I still feel it’s just for entertainment purposes for my supervisor lol just to see we’re my breaking point is .

Well the person who is training me is all over the place and I can’t follow….. I’m gonna have to pull him in a bit this week so I’m able to do the job next week. I feel like I needed more training time as a result of that and he wouldn’t give it to me:rolleyes::angrygirl:

What is it that you do? Or, better yet, tell us about yourself

Put your foot down and tell him your way or The Rake !!! :D
Well I’m just a good old school Big Rig truck driver. Doing local freight deliveries since I prefer to be home every night. But because of that instead of just bumping docks and pulling doubles long distance I work a little harder
In town doing more work but I like it since I get board and get more tired on long trips. The problem is the routing and what I’m expected to do which sometimes I can see right out of the gate it’s not possible. But their answer is just do the best you can it’s only freight. My problem with that though is I like to complete my route and it bothers me when I have to bring freight back that folks are waiting for that I knew from the get go wouldn’t make the time restraints even without taking a lunch. Just seems like a waste and it bothers me even though I get payed by the hour and shouldn’t matter. Then also it makes me later for some regular customers that have to stay late to get their deliveries, I’ve been with this company for about 8 years .I did armored truck picking up and delivering money for about 20 years off and on and 15 years straight before I went to school to get my Commercial Class A license endorsed for doubles and triples , tankers and hazmat. I got everything you could get except passengers since no way I was I going to hall people around in a grey hound bus that’s not for me.
Anyway yea a lot safer then Armored truck and pays better but still has that drama lurking here and there . But I like what I do  I could never be in an office I have to be out and about been that way my entire life .
Sorry for the long winded reply ..

    Agreed
Edit : I think the biggest challenge I had with this job was back in Covid days. I remember watching the news and them saying stay home don’t go out unless you have to. I chose to continue to keep working even though there was options to stay home and probably even make more money. I delivered to nursing homes supplies that they needed and many more places in need like hospitals .Didn’t feel right staying home but I’m not going to lie it was a little scary. I was fortunate and only caught covid once and it was mild and more like a bad flu.
