    Very nice !
Yes so true and Ive got a safe full with so many knives it’s hard to enjoy them all.
But I have fun trying :D
I also recently stopped buying more knives to help feed my new Taco addiction lol.

Thanks Brother ! You’ve got a nice variety going there of some beautiful knives also.
Edit: Also CRK makes some outstanding knives and I love his philosophy, cut once Measure twice .

@RIX TUX @TheFactor I’m so lucky that my local shop takes trades and geeks out on blades as hard as I do. They always order the latest and the greatest, so I never have to get anything online, which is a rarity up here. Whenever I get tired of something or feel self conscious for having too many, I’ll trade it in for some fresh steel.
There’s a couple collectors around town that take turns owning some of the really fancy blades for a while then trading them in. Sometimes when I’m flush, I’ll stop in and grab one of their show room pieces and take it out to gut salmon or skin an ungulate and then trade it back into rotation

If it were me, I wouldn’t bother with tuning from the middle, although you may want to try running pink noise with you in the truck and the mic at the side of each ear for 2 samples.

You are lucky and I use to have a local knife shop but they moved out of state. So now I do all my purchases from online dealers without having the opportunity to see and feel it In hand. So I just do my research on YT and a knife forum I’m on which also allows me to sell knives to keep the rotation going. Although I always end up buying two and selling one lol.

You should try 1911s. That's much worse.

I don't have a plastic bumper, my truck doesn't have the trim on it at the moment.

I’m having my windshield replaced by Safelite. They need me to bring it to their shop for calibration… that’s a first for me. Someone had posted about the windshield calibration last week I think. I had never heard that before.

Yeah, safelite wont calibrate mine because of my lift and canopy. They say it’s a Toyota only thing due to them not being able to override the factory settings

I need to get mine dropped off also, the road construction that put a few nice chips and a couple that spread very quickly in the windshield is finally wrapping up. Both chips that led to cracks happened on the way to work. By the time I clocked off they had went from a chip to about a foot long cracks. Oh well…at least it’s just glass

Same exact situation in my case. I heard the ‘dink’ at about 05:00 enroute to work. When I came out to the truck at 15:30 the crack was there

Yeah I have never had chips spread to cracks so fast. Not sure if it’s the shape of the glass or quality.

Traveled to the beach with the family. Parents were concerned that the third brake light is obscured, all the justification I needed for a Hitchpod. Guess that's next!

Since some of the safety sensors/camera are up against the glass they can move when replacing the windshield. So they are actually calibrating the sensors and not the windshield. I've heard but can't verify that in some cases with some cars they can calibrate by driving around (similar to calibrating the in-car compass).

I have 3 of 4 cars with cracked windshields (one was replaced a few weeks ago which is why it's only 3) because I wait until they get bad on the driver's side. Sometimes it seems the moment you bolt on your Colorado license plates your windshield cracks. In my case I took the rock to the glass before I even got my plates.

On Saturday I installed a Lensolar panel on my Tacoma. The install was very easy. I decide to try this to keep my battery topped off and keep my fridge/freezer running in hot weather.
Time will tell how this does, right now the best charging I have seen is 50.3w, which is only about 60-65% of the panel's rating. I have written the company to see what they say.
