I was cleaning out the Tacoma and came across these two parts that appear to be bearings or guides of some kind. I am trying to determine if they belong somewhere on my 99 Tacoma or just something left behind by the previous owner. I’m hoping someone here that knows these trucks inside and out can respond. TIA!

Those look really familiar but can't think where I would have seen them come out of. I keep little boxes (old lunchmeat containers) for different sized bolts/parts - everyone should really if you work on your own vehicle(s).

Perhaps to the gear position shifter? in the area it connects to the body?

You'd have to remove the plastic trim to see
