FWIW, I've had my 2021 for a bit over 2 years. The A/C dripped into the passenger floor mat once when I took a long drive on I-95 on a really hot day (I'm in Florida also) and has never done it again. Not a moment's trouble with the truck. Also, you do realize there is more misinformation on FB that there are actual facts, right? :)

Non-3rdgen owners, and people with an axe to grind, will have you slitting your wrists before the truck arrives if you keep reading TW.
They want you to believe that Yugo took over Tacoma production after 2015 and blow every stray drop of oil out of proportion.
Have a cold drink and relax.

Any vehicle can fail, but Tacoma is super rare.

Most owners don’t have any issues nor do they have Tacoma world accounts. So don’t fret it.

Weve changed more 19 engines than any other year and you had no issues, what gives? Statistics baby.

I guess you could get a truck built on a Friday, and it's only as reliable as a Ford.

Your truck should be good mechanically. The paint, though, is a whole other issue. Sorry, I’m one of the many sour owners of a Tacoma with peeling paint.

    4 run, 2 don't

A trail edition is simply a Tacoma with little add-ons.

Why are you so worried still?

Why'd you sell your other Tacoma if you needed (or wanted) one to begin with?

I went to a full size but realized I love the mid size of the taco and more accessories and easier to mod.

Man, you will be just fine. Drive your truck and enjoy life.

    Most Tacomas are trouble free.
