Front porch passed framing inspection, just need to lay decking down and get the final inspection done. Our mason is here today doing the new walkway and steps- so working from home today to provide direction in what we want. Should be done in 2-3 days.

Changed the serpentine belt- odo read 143,282. No way this is the original belt, actually in decent condition. Just one tiny crack but piece of mind knowing a new one is on there.

 

Taking off Wednesday through Monday, for another mini family vacation.

Wednesday we're hitting up Howe Caverns in Howes Cave NY, followed by a visit to the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown NY.

Thursday we're doing Rail Explorers also in Cooperstown NY.

Staying in Cooperstown for this Wednesday and Thursday night.

Friday morning we're driving up to Rochester NY to go see my little sis for a few days.

Friday it'll be a pool Day.

Saturday we're doing Niagara Falls, just the US side.

Sunday we're hitting up their Zoo.

Abd drive back on Monday.

Nuno at the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum if you happen to go by the Babe Ruth exhibition if it's being open or moved around my mother and father donated some Babe Ruth memorabilia that they received from Babe Ruth's daughter and I actually met her myself when I was younger maybe 12 years old and her husband and my father was very good friends with the husband that's how we met the daughter so if you see something there that's on display maybe it's rotated out I don't know from Agnes and Harold Bailey that would be my mother and father for that donation believe it was pictures of whatever they were doing back that time frame or nearly 50s enjoy your vacation

you gotta teach me how to make a reservation there. Been trying to make one in full hookup by the store row for 2 years now. Just cannot get a reservation made. I've gotten it to show me availability, but just cannot get the site to make the booking happen.

 

You using Reserve America website ?
They have water/electric . No sewer . You dump your tanks at the dump station on the way out . They also have sites that have nothing

 

You have to book now for next year

I've tried booking for next year - 11 months out if I recall.
Glamping baby. I want electricity. Probably water too. and one of those oversized spots in that row right off the beach - I want to hear the surf at night.
I've seen the dump station over by the guards booth. Have a dump station in Danbury at X2 rest area, so can give the tank a good agitation on the way home, then dump when here.

Is there some "week" shell? IE, does a 7 day reservation have to start on a particular day?
I don't recall, do they open a week at a time or a day at a time. It's been a year since I tried.

I suppose it's close enough to grab one of those fluke one or two day openings midweek. I know I'd work from beach if I did that. :-(
