Exactly. And with a stock TRD OR, I was able to enjoy all the greens we went on without issue. And I was the lead vehicle, on my first time through

You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
Recently went to AOAA as a day long trip with a friend. We both have essentially stock rigs (his is a 2016 DCLB TRD Sport, stock suspension, with stock size(31") Falken Wilkpeak AT3W's and mine is a 2019 DCLB TRD OR with stock suspension, 2lo(didnt use, probably could/should have), 32" falken wildpeak at3w's) I scraped on a few things with some rough guidance and he ended up not scraping on anything (i'm a pro at being a novice spotter I guess)
Neither of us had any extra armor, only 1 small drop took us by surprise on an otherwise smooth trail while we were rushing out to make it before 5:30 close and we hit frame rail anyhow so nothing but a small scrape(1/8" wide x 6" long or so on very underside of frame)
Stock rig can do a lot of the simple green trails on the Eastern Map. We didnt venture into the west, no time. We even managed a fairly flat but TIGHT blue trail on the deep east end. Truck length was our biggest enemy. Also worth pointing out that other than a few times going up some decent grades with loose stones all over, we rarely NEEDED 4wd and only used 4lo for a handful of crawls.

I say all this to encourage you to come out and try what the place has to offer, if you're around for multiple days try a ride along and then maybe take yours out. You don't need a rig with 10k in upgrades to have fun, good tires will get you through some fun stuff! Keep in mind this is also a group ride and people will have recovery gear, I'm sure a fellow tacoholic will be more than happy to help if needed.

They make beefy stuff but doesn’t always fit as intended. Quality control isn’t in place and complaints of lack of communication are common.

Well that sucks, I reached out to them on April 24th when I overhauled the 3rd gen rear bumper thread, didnt hear from them until June 12th but I forgot to add them onto the list.

Man, I must have missed the back-and-forth, sounds like it got fairly intense.

Sure does. I got a hitch skid from them a few years ago and that thing is pretty nice. It was good to see them always interacting on TW too.

Not really intense, guy was upset something not fitting. I’ll look for the thread.
I think Mike, warfab, realized the stress involved with being available on here to be called out and what not. Kinda unique compared to other Taco fab shops.
Not trying to slam them and I do really like my front bumper with chop kit and rear phantom bumper but fit and finish suck compared to others at the same price point.

Anyway, back on topic, whatcha bringing for the potluck Saturday night?

There will be cheese - floating some other ideas.

You're doing the same or similar pork dish? I have been toying around the idea of buying a tortilla press :spy: I could do tortillas (maybe) and salsa, or cheese.
