    Stock again- rip slug
    I'm excited !! cutting definitely will be a priority versus a drop bracket to start, sorry jaxon

    Seems about par w/ slug, lil faster, on from what i rode with my brother. Ill be stopping by his place every other day to practice driving 3 pedal with my walking boot from ortho. (Pretty bulky)
    Ill be able to give ya a better answer once I'm driving it sadly

    Its missing the steering column plastic shroud , if that's a possibility :D

    Ill grab one soon for ya

    The manual I rode in with you definitely had some pull I didn't expect, that 5th gear is not to be underestimated

    Honestly I'm not sure, I never did just them. The passenger side got changed when my truck got hit and the driver side when I got a new lower it came with.
    From what I see they are just cup style ball joints they should be pretty simple.

    @Abeyancer

    There's an offroad mechanic simulator game on Steam

    You wheel in the game, but there's much more to it than that

    You manually upgrade parts, doing in-game labor (as in unzipping bolts to remove parts, even hitting them with a wire brush to remove rust and even press in your own bushings) :rofl:

    @Ozark_RegCab found your game!

    Glad to hear you stuck with the 5spd and didn't settle for a slush box. When I was ~22 I broke my left foot and had to wear a moon boot cast for several weeks, my tC back then was manual and it took some getting used to but definitely possible. I'm sure your cast is bigger though

    Manual is just the way to go with this generation of truck, the auto seriously puts a damper on power output

    I mean, it only kinda is scaled to 31's grey is R150 and Yellow is A340F, both with 5VZ-fe

    upload_2023-7-25_8-39-18.png
    Specifically at highway speeds the Auto can shift between OD and 3rd and even scream back to second giving it much better drivability than the R150 already sitting high in the RPM range and needing to drop back into 4th (which perfectly matches 3rd in the auto so its impossible to see)to get a very minor increase in drive force (at wot mind you) then follow the auto and dip to 3rd if you really need to maintain speed.

    clearly at low speeds the MT has a seat of your pants advantage that the magic salad bowl does not outperform.

    That's pretty interesting. I'd be willing to run a less lossy auto I think like the A750 in a 1st gen if it had a VZ bellhousing adapter. But I've been very unimpressed with how the A340 handles 1st-3rd, maybe raising stall would help a bit.

    it absolutely would, but it will also build fuck tons more heat offroad/towing.

    More gears and more LOWER gears are really needed, and when you compare to a modern 8 or 10 speed, its easy to see how AT went from underperforming to unquestionably superior performance wise in the last ~25 years
