Phoenixville was back in April when I came out your way for the cheese steak meet at Delassandro's. I hit a bunch on the way there and home. Current mural count is 663. Here's one from Sunday when I headed northwest for a RTE from ADVRider forum.

This one is in a city park on a walking path. If they don't want me to ride through there why did they place their bollards so far apart?

Oh that's right I see the date now, I was at the Supercross race that day.

You're on track to hit 1000! Also there's some walking paths that look like they would be so fun to rip down on a motorcycle

I put another 250 miles on the bike this weekend, weather was perfect both mornings. Also passed inspection on Saturday. Love this little shop the owner is an awesome guy. There was a nice VFR800 inside I should have taken a pic of

I might be able to hit 1k but I'm having to venture further out now on rides. Saturday I hit Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown for a total of 32. Sunday I was in Huntingdon, Hollidaysburg, Ebensburg, and Altoona to add 13 more. I have st least 50 more bookmarked in Baltimore. Heading out to Johnstown on August 4th then Pittsburgh on the 5th to see Pink in concert. Have 5 or 6 in Johnstown itself and a bunch on the way to Pittsburgh then a bunch in the city itself. Sucks right now that it's just SO stinking hot it's not much fun riding around a city and stopping to get off and on the bike a bunch of times in a short distance like that.

This past weekend was over 550 miles. The Pittsburgh trip should be close to 600. I know I need to change tires again before September when we head to WV for an FJR forum meet. I put this pair on in February and have about 11k on them now.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Roll out!

Is it the red VFR you can barely see? Those were sweet riding bikes. Lots of power throughout! I do remember the maintenance being a bit of a bitch.

I just picked up my first pair of riding shoes yesterday morning. Falco Lennox 2’s. My Forma Adventure Pro lows are probably overkill now that I don’t have a bike to take offroad, but I love them, and they will still be my go to during the shoulder seasons.

Even though I’ve sold off all of my dirt equipment, I still hang onto my Gaerne SG10’s on the very off chance that I pick up another MX bike, or for the more likely chance that my willpower crumbles and I end up buying a Husky 701 Enduro. I did manage to let go of a pair of Astar Tech 6 recently though.
    IMG_0330.jpg
They also come in red, green, blue, and grey. I would have gone with blue, but the dealer only had the black and red in my size. Decided to go with what they had stocked rather than ordering a different colour.

My friend that crashed his AT replaced it with a 701 Enduro. Hes building it out. Currently at this stage:

I've seen a few pics of those and they're cute but not sure if they're actually street legal, at least not in my state.....

701 is a sweet spot for dual sporting. Lot of power for the weight ratio. Suspension is what to expect from husky, so there is a lot you can do with these. I had a couple gens of these bikes, and they are a great choice to build. You will find yourself getting into some hard enduro in these and makes you a much better rider.

I also forgot to mention that the 690/701 may be the most planted feeling bike I have ridden. My new 890r feels similar, maybe a little better with the weight down low.
I can ride out of the saddle on these all day. All I do is add a small bar riser and some giant pegs!

This bike has gone thru 3 fairings and 1 gas tank. I thumped this bike all over the hardest trails on the east coast.

My buddies would just shake their heads when I pulled it off the trailer and they were all riding their 2strokes :)

You most certainly can feel the weight of them when you launch them. Reminds me of my old Honda single cyclinder….well a bit more plush than that..
