I went through the lights banging the rev limiter in third and 85.21mph is all she had to give. The chart, as I read it shows it closer towards the 90 mark, hence my little jab. Having forced induction helps the motor pull firm to the limiter and I've grown used to it and forgot how the engine used to drop off NA at the high revs. Regardless, THIS is the kind of stuff I enjoy reading, true data, and getting into the weeds so to speak.

 

Gonna raise your limiter?

 

A lot more rain but definitely warmer. I feel like we're going to get a lot of rain up here at Lake level. Going to make my drive to work a lot easier.

I'm pretty annoyed with my trans at this point and couldn't exactly pinpoint why. (It did cross my mind that 1st gear sucked the most though)

 

well then your first question about tire size is spot on, the chart is derived from tire diameter so real world factors of actual rolling diameter and speedo gear (I assume you were using GPS tho) make up that fine difference!!

What bore do wheels have to be in order to fit over manual hubs. I want to make sure the wheels I’m about to buy will fit over manual hubs for the 4x4 swap in the near future.

There's an off the shelf CAN computer for BMW DCT now as well that I am dying to find an excuse to swap into something. Rotary plus DCT is my thought currently, best part is the CAN system is Haltech supported

 

I am glad to hear this. Your front shocks definitely need some assistance. Who did you go with for this? Is it an off the shelf shim stack or a custom one?

 

This is for the rear, Ben at Filthy Motorsports came up with the stacks. Waiting to hear back about the fronts, hoping the folks at aFe get back to me today or tomorrow.
