    Taco Tuesday Talk...

How is your Taco used? Daily Driver? Weekend Warrior? Work truck? Company vehicle? Did you know you were going to outfit your Tacoma, or did it happen over time? How did you outfit your Taco? Tacoma's are about as versatile as it comes, and aside from being a hot shot, they can operate in nearly every job field and fit the need of most driveways and homes. With Ford dropping the Ranger R and Chevy dropping the ZR2 Bison (on 35s from the factory), it is apparent they are scared of the Tacoma and how capable it already is. How did you make your Tacoma fit your needs? How is yours outfitted and dressed up?

We at @OffroadAlliance.com offer nearly anything you can imagine to outfit your vehicle and have experts on staff that walk you through the build so it can be as catered to your needs as possible. We see everything from Smartcap's going on work trucks and overlander's to Decked systems being used for contractors. We have outfitted vehicles to fit bed cages and bypasses, for those turning their taco into race trucks, to adding hundreds of pounds in steel/aluminum armor for those rock crawlers. We know this platform excels no matter what environment it is tested in, we want to see how these trucks are used and can be used in YOUR environment!

Our social media team is constantly searching for vehicles to showcase and show the world. We are hobbyists first and foremost and love seeing those out there using their vehicles to the fullest! If you want to be showcased or tagged by our social media, drop some pics down below with a list of what you've done (optional) so we can show everyone how versatile the Tacoma platform really is! I know this is the 3rd gen group, if you know someone with a 1st or 2nd gen or have one that is your rig, post it up here too! We love seeing these builds and what everyone can come up with as each one is unique and different!

I generally don't drive the taco out to the barn. All the alpaca crap and horse manure winds up on the Gator.

My commute to work is pretty much all through farm country, it's inevitable. Just ran through a bunch a little bit ago. During the Spring rain season the underside is pure caked on do do... :puke:

I bought a Tacoma because it did not need anything additional to accomplish my needs. Over this past weekend my truck hauled four bags of golf clubs. Then it hauled nine bales of hay. Then it hauled some 5/4 sticker dried lumber, all in the space of two days. I wash it once a month or so, through a full contact car wash. I open the hood to add washer fluid only. I have nor want any accessories.
I applaud your efforts, but many people who buy your products live vicariously through the image it provokes. A lot of them live to 'gram and youtube and tiktok. I post here. Nowhere else.
Let's see, I also pull a trailer and I have to re-weld some rings on it this week sometime. Oh, it hauls my ass to work everyday too.
If I wanted a fancy truck I would have bought a Denali. I have a plain jane Tacoma Off Road. Zero options not even a sunroof.

Basically stock. Added better tires for better grip offroad - and bad pavement / potholes. And to better navigate some of the basic tracks around me and a few down in Baja. The Taco is used mostly for adventures and camping with my boys. - Or solo occasionally. I don't drive much otherwise.

Added sliders (got rid of the predator steps that came with it before they got torn off...) Mostly to serve ar steps for the boys and wifey and also for added protection of course. First time I've had sliders on anything, but I've always been wary of damaging a sill by sliping off a rock, granite soil or such. (And appreciate the door ding protection.). Heavier, but functional.

Added a SmartCap to improve functionality of the bed and vehicle overall. This is the first 'Truck' I've owned. (had a 100 Series LC in the past. The cap makes it more livable and practical for lugging stuff around while on the road.

Looks-wise that is all I've added, I believe... I really appreciate the 2 lo Mod for navigating steep hills, and rocky sections of trail.

I don't do gram or any social media BS (not at all interested in wasting my time...). I get lots of compliments, but my objective was to build a functional vehicle that is fun and works for us to get us in and out of places.

This is what makes this platform superior to the competition!! Out of the box they're excellent! What year is yours and how many miles are you at?

As for those who modify their Tacoma, some do it for looks while others increase functionality catering to their specific needs. This is the reason for this post, those who haven't modified and are looking to drop on their vehicle can see those using the platform "out of the box" and can see the greatness Toyota built from the factory!

PLEASE tell me the rest of the truck is as dirty as this tailgate! So refreshing seeing a Toyota in its natural habitat.

Heck of a list the Taco came with! Whered you score that build?

Sounds like some functionality added without compromising or affecting the OEM reliability! Smartcaps make a great addition to the back and retain structure for adding a rack on top or carrying any weight like an SUV would and Sliders are one of the first "mods" I recommend as the ground clearance is compromised so much by the predator steps / nerf bars. Not to mention the protection on and off road and protection against those pesky parking lot door dings!
