    Ballistol does it all. (Others have recommended other good products as well.)Bore snake. Patches and cleaning rod help finesse the end result. Once clean, lightly oil as per the manufacturer’s directions.

    Some solvents can damage plastic parts. The base ingredient of Ballistol is mineral oil, which does not harm metal, wood, leather and most plastics.

    I've toyed with the idea of using a really cheap electric tooth brush for deep cleaning, but never done it. I will say that there are a lot more options than when I started shooting in the 1970s.

    Got a slash in a tire up wheeling in NH a few weeks ago. Now have 2 tires with sidewall damage and 2 trips this summer where that could ruin my trip. Balance beads have not been nice in that tire since. Counteract says add more beads but not worth the maybe with trips coming up fast.

    Gotcha. Well the one I sliced wheeled the rest of the day and mabell on it before rotating it out. I think the counteract weights you need to go heavier with, mine feel super smooth on the road and I'm running 12oz per wheel

    The original clutch master cylinder is made out of plastic. I have a metal AISIN to replace mine whenever it fails, I am not looking forward to fitting under the dash to replace it!

    I agree more would smooth out that wheel. Just nervous and don’t have the best luck. Boss helped the fund a bit, he told the owner someone crashed a pallet into it. Threw me $300 for the tire so real hard to say no…you’ve seen them!:rofl:
