1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I just looked at shockseals.com. An interesting site. I see they carry ADS seal kits. Is it their oil you are using? I am wondering how much oil I need to pick up to do all 4 of mine. Do you think 2 gallons will be enough?

 

I bought 1 gallon of juice and used a third of it to do two 2.5" fronts... so you can probably do it all with one.

On the new motor I plan to move it up. Theres certainly room to go with the cam and springs in it. That's a bit down the road still before I am in the tuning stage. I am hoping I can start the tear down this weekend. Drain fluids, and at least pull the trans out. But we will see if I get distracted and go fishing instead.

I was using the speed trap on the track. The last 66ft on the track measures your mph, of course it's time based, so it's an average speed across the 66ft. However I was on the limiter all the way through the trap.

One gallon should be more than enough. I think I still have 1/2 gallon after doing all 4 corners with reservoirs.

Ain't that the truth. I want an Elise/Exige and a 91NSX for my hole adult life. Prices just exceeded what I wanted to pay and I figured if I wait, get some raises, then, THEN I can afford one. But then their values have out paced my increases in earnings so I'm still screwed. I even had a spreadsheet of Elise sales over the several years tracking their price until I got too depressed and stopped.

 

Big sads. Get an MR2 before they get priced to the moon too.
