    New guy to this forum, wondering if anyone has heard of an easy grill blackout other than either buying a black one on ebay or pulling, scratching, and painting? Mines a glossy gray/silver, but the truck is pretty nightshaded other than that. Little too blingy for me. Pic attached. Also, thanks to the folks that chatted about canopy preferences, that helped me alot. FYI, I have a new UnderCover Ultraflex 5.5' tonneau that I'm going to sell if anyone's interested.

    Did mine chrome trim piece around the grill in a day with the scuff, prime, paint method

    Plasti-dip - pretty easy to apply, and 100% reversible if you don't like it.

    Here's my old Frontier with a plasti-dipped grille:
