Inquiring minds want to know if Toyota engineers fixed the 4th gen Tacoma. Does it handle a 32oz Nalgene water bottle now?

I had to look up what that was. I drink water out of the plastic bottle it was bottled in. If I wasn't the one drinking the water and discarding the empty bottle, someone else would. Making a difference won't make a difference.

The real test is will it fit 2 Sonic RT 44 drinks side by side without knocking the lid off one when you pull the other out of the cup holder.

Every bottle produced is consumed. There are occassions the water is sold out in stores. I don't think people always realize the scale of consumption and waste when it relates to consumable goods. All the reusable water bottles and bag bans in the world, aren't going to stop people from discarding soiled diapers into the gutter.

Have Nalgene bottles that are going on 25 years old, fill up from filtered tap water at the house. When I go camping fill up one of my water coolers.

But yeah, it won’t make a difference when I see people buying flats upon flats of bottled water at the grocery store. Think to myself why do I even bother???

I have a 64oz yeti that i wish could fit in the door pocket, first world problem i know.
I'm not trying to save the world with it, it's just convenient for me to have that much water as i can drink 2 of those per day and it keeps the water cold. But the door pocket would be nice instead of the bottle rolling around on the floor or the seat.

Nothing wrong with using reusable items. There are so many consumables out there and a lot of them come in some kind of packaging, I don't know oy anyone can have much of an impact one way or the other. Even the consumables that are designed to have a positive impact on pollution have to be manufactured and packaged, like DEF fluid comes in a platic jug.
