But I did actually make those over the past 2 weeks, weather un-fitting to the meal. Along with a nice sourdough focaccia last night, 425° for 25 minutes. Central air - a godsend

I did do a grill run last night, but this time of year I don't eat much. (1) the heat kills my appetite and (2) the timing of it - I'll get a lunch at the work cafeteria (they do pretty good actually), and then come home - run the dog, ride the bike, do some lawn care, pull some weeds, shower, suddenly it's 8:30 - no desire to cook anything (no kids, I can do that :D).

June-September I tend toward only one meal a day a lot because of that.

I'm a smoked meats BBQ Guy.
Family came over from Germany on my Dad's side and settled in Texas around 1800ish time frame.
Mom's side came from France around 1900.

Both families were heavily into smoking and preserving meats so I come by it honestly.
Currently still using the Weber Smoky Mountain that my grandfather got in around 1985. Have looked at changing to something else but I do so well on it why bother.

So I see my Beef Stew irritates you. Why would that be....
So I think hmm, let’s go look at Mr. Farts’ food posts with pics. Guess what I find, you actually have 148 posts in this thread. Not bad but I can’t find any food pics of yours until I get all the way back to the third page. Then I find 8 food pics, 4-5 of which I’m guessing your wife cooked. You probably did cook the “mojo” hamburger with the fried egg? and that beef with pasta, how in the hell do you get flank steak to turn gray. Please tell me you didn’t boil it. Then I read through some of your posts and it seems that you never have a phone close by to take pics. “I cooked...........but I didn’t have my phone”, WTF dude?
So let’s do some math 8/148= .054, that’s +/-5 1/2%, that means 94 1/2% of your posts are nothing but BS and you running your mouth. If my math is wrong by all means correct it.

I would love to see you post pics of your food in here and I’ll support you 100%. That’s why we’re all here, to share, learn techniques and get new ideas. If you just want to come in here and run your mouth and disrespect the people that make this thread what it is, then your not going to last very long.

I am irritated because he came in and took a dump in a really good thread with nothing to back his shit up!
We’ll see how he responds, if he does.

Let it go man. Not worth getting worked up over.

let it live rent free in your head and bother you or, brush it off and move on.

trust me, I’ve let enough shit get to me and it took time to learn to just brush it off and move on.

My favorite cheesecake from them. Funny last night I was just looking at a picture of it on their site trying to decide what all I need to make it at home. :D

This site, I also make her Napa cabbage kimchi. It is phenomenal. I’ve made a few other things on her site as well, all good. Her videos are great as well, she has a great personality!

If you haven’t used it before, Get some gochuchang as well :) it’s a hot pepper paste that I use for various things. Really good!

And here’s a quart of the kimchi after just 4.5 hours of fermentation. You can let it go for 24 hours then into the frige.

Gochujang is a must. First time I had it was at a wing place (Chick N Beer) in OKC on a trip. Thought about those wings the rest of my trip to Wichita until I got more on the way home
