Skip the tune. Drive it a while and decide if you need it. Especially if your not hauling or doing heavy city or Hwy driving. I havent seen the need yet. Maybe extreme cold and snow gives me a different opinion in a few months or some hauling.

What do you need to get done with the truck now? Get the item(s) that most help you get your needs accomplished now. Skip pure bling items like seat covers, tunes, and skid plates if you don’t off road.

    Nice silver truck!

Be patient on the one you want and shop around.
You'll eventually find a great deal on one.
I did a lot for very little waiting for holiday sales and coupon codes.
Even some used items and 3rd party, depending.
So much good used stuff out there to be paying new prices all the time.

I appreciate it! I do see the seat covers as being more than bling, though. I’ve seen stained cloth seats that will never look clean again. I really want to protect them.

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
Check out the Lostar skid plate - same as TRD and half the price. Mine took a few good hits already and is holding up very well.

Make an extra payment. (I'm assuming you financed...pardon me if I've assumed incorrectly)
Can come in handy if your revenue is interrupted unexpectedly/temporarily.

No room for responsible thinking in this thread. You are right but it’s financed and if I wait until it’s paid, my fun years will be over. :D

Get some good off-road tires first and sell the Wranglers while they are still fresh. Then do the rest later.

I have a lostar and I only “go off-road on forest roads”. Thing took a few hits. Holds up fine. Painted black anyway.
    A tune is very nice.
I’ve too many bed options to say get a lomax

They did away with the Kevlar Wranglers? That’s an improvement!

oK, then get a bed mat and also a good front and rear dash cam system to help protect your investment!

Can't go wrong with a good set of covers. I ran my truck for nearly three years without them. Then I had it professionally cleaned and installed Clazzios. Life is easier all around with them.

They do run discount codes, look around for them.

I believe “tacomaworld” is the best discount, currently. Saves you $80.

Fogettabout it.... just send me the $600 and call it a day.
You'll be better off in the long run as someone mentioned if you go and spend that $600,
then you'll want to spend another $600, then another, then another.... it never ends.

Nip it in the bud - send cash - small bills.

Hookers and blow are strong first choice for some, but hands down tune it.

I didn’t get lower on your list once I saw the tune.

My only complaint with the OTT tune is that I chose too hot of a setting, and am going to have my tuner set it back a notch (think I am in the middle right now). Slow uphills cause the truck to feel like it is surging…like holding a horse that wants to run back…
