Is it just like regular FF but black? I just picked up a can of regular FF from Canadian Tire yesterday....didn't see a black version.

I haven’t driven out on the back roads yet, but so far they look great. My OEM headlights were so glazed over I couldn’t see sh!t. Tried the headlight protecting kits but couldn’t save them. I’ll follow up when I get to test them out. I JUST read they’re sh!t headlights LOL damn…we shall see how they hold up

Solar controller and Battery are in the cab
The RTT portion bolts on to the camper shell portion. Think GFC...but different.

What's the cost of applying Black Fluid Film or is it a do it yourself. No need here in Southern California. I wonder if your spray on would be helpful in keeping the California Politicians out of my wallet?

Just had an alignment and had some clunking noises after so I went down and torqued up the loose cam bolts. Only time I ever go to a shop is for an alignment and they still can’t do it right :homer:. Checked other suspension components since I was down there, UCA and End links were out of spec too.

looks like my Driver-side inner tie rod is bent so that’s the next project. Truck pulls to the right wonder if that’s the cause

Flushed coolant for the first time.
X2 with distilled water and one more flush with new coolant before topping off for good.

How in the hell are y’all attaching the drain hose to the driver side block drain? What a pain in the ass, I just said F it and drained block into a bucket. Messy but it got done. Passenger side block drain was easy peasy.

Oh and here’s the best part y’all, on one of my drives to mix in the new flush I left my new TRD radiator cap sitting on my intake, pulled back into the garage and noticed that the cap was off, nearly pooped my pants, as soon as the anxiety of that passed I was hit with the fact that my radiator cap was most likely 5 miles away in the middle of some street, that I wouldn’t be able to finish the job and would have to order a new one…..

And then I found it wedged next to my windshield wiper fluid reservoir,
    FN’ A COTTON, FN A!

And if you’re curious, here’s what the first drain looked like. Not so pink:lalala:

I didn't think it was bad on the 2012. I will see when I do the 2008 if it is just as easy. Seems like the passenger side was harder to attach than the driver side on the 2012. One thing I did do was take a picture of the ratchet setup for opening those block valves for future reference.

I'd interested in Headlight replacements on Amazon that don't leak and are a good choice for replacement from anyone in the same boat.

Made some progress getting the interior back together and the wires run for the switches for some lights I'll add in the future.

With only two cans, I was able to do my white rear and was only able to get the inside of the rails in the middle section of the frame. 4-6 cans should be good for the truck.
