I got a bed mat and trifold cover. All the rest listed are nice to have, well the tune might be good but go for the practical. If you are keeping it. Time is on your side. Have fun amid enjoy. Oh trifold needs to be hard so you can step on it

Lol, everyone says this, but rarely true so spend your fun money wisely. Maybe get a quality tonneau cover and a bed mat. You should focus on high functional add-ons and save the bling for another day. And don't be too proud to ignore buying used accessories. Someone else's pain is your gain.

I agree with being patient and going used. Keep your eyes open and see what comes up on Marketplace and places like that. I jumped right in and bought an inexpensive aluminum cap (which I like) but in the last 9 months I have seen two really nice takeoff caps for a fraction of what I paid. You can get a lot of stuff for $600 if you’re patient.

Secure storage is what I needed first.

For context, and because others have suggested making an extra payment, this “fun money” is because it was received as a birthday gift with intent to do something I wanted to for my truck. That’s why it’s not being used for other options.

Follow the crowd, and get an OEM bed mat.

Be original, and skip the TRD Pro grill. Yours looks fine.

With a limited budget, might prioritize spending on functional first, aesthetics second.

    Several aesthetic
I am in a similar situation. All my mods/upgrades are mostly aesthetic, and I would say the most important upgrade for my truck was the bed mat. Does what it designed to do and protects the bed. I put in the TRD skid plate for looks, but most my mods are simple and has the truck looking the way I want. I'm not going to throw major cash at lifts and lights I won't use or need. However, I do enjoy seeing other trucks that have those mods!

Is a bed mat really needed if you already have a composite bed liner? The bed is already protected.

The composite bed is great, but it's slicker than green snot on a doorknob. The bed mat is a great addition to your new ride and keeps stuff from sliding all over the place back there. You won't regret that purchase.

PS: the composite material is not a bed liner, it is the bed!

I did seat covers first - protects your investment, one cup of coffee spilled and you're bummed.

Ordered a bed mat at the same time.

Got the tonneau before a trip, really like having that, but the key to making it work well is also doing the factory automatic tailgate lock upgrade. Highly recommend that. Also helps prevent tailgate theft which is apparently a thing.

Getting into skids and other protection is a whole other deal and gets expensive quickly, look for some used maybe, especially for sliders. You should be able to get the trd skid cheaper than you listed if you decide to go that route. Also think about combining that with catalytic protection if you live somewhere where that matters (probably almost everywhere these days).

I haven't done a tune, I feel it drives ok for a truck. Maybe someday. Same with a suspension upgrade.

Are you serious? It’s not a painted metal bed with the plastic liner dropped in and attached?

These funds are a gift to do something in the truck. Thanks for the suggestion, though. It is a wise choice.
