Hey do you guys recommend sealing with silicone and or drilling small holes in the bottom of a new cheap set of fogs off eBay before install? Thanks

I’ve read old posts of guys doing it. Maybe it’s just with old lenses?

A bead of silicone around the join on any cheap lights is not a bad idea, that's often where they fail first. Clean thoroughly before applying - I like denatured alcohol.

Good to know. Thanks. Any other household cleaner that would work too?

Rubbing alcohol? You want something that will degrease any leftover mold release agent and evaporate clean.

I just buy cheap and bright led replacement bulbs and keep spares. Cheap insurance. They last a year or more and are only $15ish.

2nd to the bead of silicon, also use dielectric grease on the connectors, acetone will also work for prepping the surface.
