 finally got it through, after blowing the pipe out, and dragged a rag back through the pipe. Should be all good now. What's the trick to getting all the wire back on the reel? :annoyed:

It worked!!!! Thank you so much for the idea!!!

I'm right handed so I hold the handle with my left hand and turn the reel with my right. You want to keep the tension on the reel so it doesn't go slack. It's easier to do if you coil it while pulling the wire, but sometimes you just have to muscle through a big old pile of pull wire on the floor.

I usually have at least one thing to fix weekly that my wife has busted, chipped, dented, or cracked. That doesn't include electronics which she can short out
and make go haywire just by touching them. The only thing she has not messed up his her 2018 Tesla Model 3. That's if you don't include setting off the emergency
blinker by hitting the button that is mounted way up by the rear view mirror. Somehow she smacked her purse into it getting out of the car and didn't know how to turn it off.

So much nicer out here now.

Also, I learned to give Blindster your actual measurements and let them decide on margins. This is the second shade because the first one I ordered was a bit too big because I tried to set my own margins.

With a table saw, cut off saw, planer and router table it's pretty nice to rip, plane to width, route grooves and such. I love my vacuum auto on and timed off after tool shut down.

No major f-ups, no wasted wood other than trimmed ends and such. My materials planning was decent, one 1x6x6 left over.

    Scary shit:

Table saw: I need to really watch this Bosch table saw fence. I was taking it on and off until I got to a place in the work flow where I could do all my rips. Not a real pain BUT - There is a false lock position for the back of the fence that I really need to watch. One of the times I THOUGHT it was in and locked down until half way into a long rip. HOLY shit it came loose. But I had enough control to shut down, reinstall and lock, and start the cut again, could not even tell on the ripped board.

Router table: Cutting grooves is a breeze when I get it all dialed in. 3/8" groove in the edge of a 2x4 is cool and the hog wire fits snug, a bit to snug tough to get it in the groove. Easily solved by running the 2x4 again, but other end in first...............well bit spinning and if that meat removal edge is inside, work will be flung FORWARD! First time, 39" 2x4 snagged out of my hands and flew around 8 feet. Yikes. No damage!!

Planer: Make sure your dust/chip separator doesn't fill up mid long healthy material removal cut. My planer actually bogged and choked. Dman. I Shut down quick!!. Board was OK. Was not watching the canister.

And lastly why the F CANNOT VACUUM HOSE FOR WOOD TOOLS BE STANDARDIZED?

We’ve all read this before but holy wow. Seems like I own every adapter on Amazon then running for them and some don’t fit at all like my ancient Hitachi chop saw is none of the above!

I have a nice powerful DeWalt shop vac with 2.5” everything so I buy their venturi dust collector during Prime days for a steal which works great but is 2.25”!
